BC HRMA World Cafe

Program Summary:


The BC HRMA World Café will host a living network of conversations as participants explore questions that matter in the World of Human Resources.

Hosted by Simon Fraser University and facilitated by creator Kathryn Taft, CHRP, Instructor, School of Business, Capilano University, this 1st event is an opportunity to create these invisible webs of dialogue and personal relationships that enable us to learn, create shared purpose, and shape life-affirming futures together.

As a conversational process, this World Café will be an innovative yet simple methodology for hosting conversations at 20+ tables with 'Host Industry Experts' within the Human Resources Cycle including BC HRMA's staff in 'Research and Learning', 'Metrics and Research' and 'CHRP'.

These conversations will link and build on each other as students move between tables to cross-pollinate ideas, and discover new insights into the questions or issues that are most important in their life.

This event is open to students from all post secondary institutions. There is limited seating for each institution. Please register early so you are not disappointed.

A full refund, less a $25 processing fee will be issued for cancellations submitted in writing to HRMA one week prior to an event or workshop. Substitute attendees are permitted up to the day of the event or workshop; member/non-member rates will be applied. Refunds cannot be completed online.
