Program Summary:

Knowing how to make a good business case is crucial for funding, program design and delivery, staying on track, validating your ideas, and establishing the economic and strategic value of your work to the organization.

This workshop will focus on how to assess and communicate the value of HR & OD activity, especially to non-HR leaders. After mapping out a range of useful approaches and tactics, we will apply them to a series of simple, generic cases and then to real life cases in real time-cases supplied by workshop participants.

A brief pre-workshop assignment will help you outline one of your cases.

You Will Learn:

  • How to build your toolkit of approaches and tactics
  • How to build your toolkit of statistics and research you can use to bolster your case
  • How and where to start and what the outermost possibilities are
  • To share best practices and collaborate on common challenges with your peers
  • To start building your own case with a practical action planning worksheet
