Fundamentals of Stress Management

Thursday March 11, 2010 (Webinar) Registration Deadline: March 8. Please register before this date to ensure event is not cancelled. CHRP CE Credits: 2.00 Code #035-120

Program Summary:

The key to stress management ultimately rests on our perceptions of the stresses in our lives. Most people are aware that stress plays a significant role in our attitude, productivity, and our health; however, awareness without action produces limited results. This webinar will lead participants through a discussion about the effects of both positive and negative stress on our bodies, while providing tips on how best to implement resiliency techniques in our daily life. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their responses to stress as we explore different 'hectic scenarios' and a variety of stress management techniques that help to adapt our perceptions of stress and equip us for taking positive action.

You Will Learn:

  • How stress can affect the body and our performance
  • Recognize signs and symptoms associated with stress
  • Discover possible triggers, danger zones and increase our self awareness
  • Evaluate perceptions associated with triggers that cause stress
  • Make an action plan to manage stress
