Active Conference sessions provided by LifeWorks
As conference presenters, LifeWorks will offer a series of active, personal growth sessions – such as Pilates, Yoga, or Meditation. These sessions will help delegates experience the benefits of wellness first hand. These sessions require minimal equipment and will be done is a conference room.
 
 
YOGA is a great way to relax, rejuvenate and recharge the body and mind. In this session, participants will have the opportunity to experience a typical Corporate Yoga Class. Corporate yoga can be offered with limited space – in a simple boardroom.

Please bring your own mat.

Thursday: 4:00 – 5:30 pm

Friday: 7:00 – 8:00 am & 11:00 – 12:00 noon
 
 
MEDITATION for Busy People - Meditation is a wonderful tool that can be utilized in a very short period of time to offer great results in clarity, focus and relaxation. During this session, participants will learn about meditation and learn some simple exercises to quiet the mind and engage in their lives.

DESK STRETCHES – You’ve been sitting at your desk all day….your shoulders are feeling tight and tense, your eyes are feeling the effects of strain from looking at the computer monitor all day – is that a headache coming on? It doesn’t have to be this way! In this session, participants will learn simple ways to reduce strain and tension and help relieve the inevitable by doing a simple series of desk stretches.

Thursday lunch break 12:15 – 1:45 pm
 
CHAIR MASSAGE is by far, the most convenient method of massage therapy. Chair massage lasts anywhere from 5 - 15 minutes and is done while fully clothed. A chair massage promotes better circulation and muscle stimulation. This form of massage reduces tension in the back, neck and shoulders; thus providing deep relaxation. A swift chair massage revitalizes your anatomy and encourages overall well-being.
