Welcome to the Fraser Valley Region's launch event of the newest Career Advancement Network (CAN)! This Roundtable is created to serve the self & career development needs of BCHRMA members and SFU students.

Topic: Employment Agencies/ Executive Search Firms / Staffing Firms - what are they, how to engage them effectively in your transition. Presented by: Dawn Longshaw, Managing Director-Professional Recruitment at Vertical Bridge.

Dawn has been a professional recruiter since 1989; bringing a wealth of sales and marketing experience gained from her prior career in the consumer packaged goods and medical /pharmaceutical industries. Her expertise has proven invaluable to clients seeking sales, marketing and management personnel in the above industries as well as in traditional B2B sectors and financial services. In the placement of human resources professionals, she is a recognized leader.

This is a BC HRMA 'members-only' roundtable, however SFU students and alumni may attend free. Pre-registration is preferred as space is limited.
