CHRP Prep Courses

NPPA - Facilitated Learning Session

Program Summary:

These facilitated learning sessions provide an opportunity for CHRP candidates to collaboratively work with peers to review potential exam questions and possible solutions for the Professional Practice Assessment. Participants are expected to bring sample scenarios for discussion.

In addition, participants will be given the opportunity to participate in an online follow-up study group.

You Will Learn:

  • techniques for assessment-based exams
  • tips and suggestions for analyzing HR scenarios and solutions
  • benefits from online peer study support groups

Presenters:

Mark Alexander, CHRP, is an HR, LR and OD practitioner with over twenty-five years of experience in the field of labour/management relations, human resource management and organization development.

Mark graduated with a BA from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He has since worked both in the private sector, as a vice president with John Labatt Limited and Bell Canada and as an organization development manager with Air Canada, and in the public sector, as founding President of Canadian Healthcare Management and Vice President, Human Resources for the Toronto East General Hospital.

A full refund, less a $25 processing fee will be issued for cancellations submitted in writing to HRMA one week prior to an event or workshop. Substitute attendees are permitted up to the day of the event or workshop; member/non-member rates will be applied. Refunds cannot be completed online.
