Professional Practice Assessment |

The National Professional Practice Assessment (NPPA) consists of scenarios designed to test the acumen and insight you have gained from your HR related experience. Questions will present a brief description of a situation and you will be asked to select the most effective action to take from four choices. The situations and possible actions have been vetted by HR professionals across the country. One answer is clearly superior to the others. Partial points will be given for selecting an action that is suitable, but not the best.
- BC candidates must be members of BC HRMA and register to write the NPPA within 5 years of writing and passing the National Knowledge Exam (NKE).
- The NPPA exam is offered the first Saturday in May and October every year unless the date coincides with a religious or major holiday.
- The minimum passing grade is 70%.

$500 + $25.00 GST = $525.00
Registration
You must register for the NKE and NPPA separately. After successfully passing the NKE, you can then register for the NPPA. Deadline for registration to write the CHRP exams are 2 months before the exam date.
