The Northern Region offers a number of networking, volunteer & mentoring opportunities throughout the year for HR professionals and partners with other organizations to bring HR educational courses to the area. The Advisory Council runs Monthly Mingles which include discussions lead by an expert and are an excellent opportunity for industry networking.

The Northern Region Advisory Council welcomes input from all BC HRMA members who would like to be involved with the growth of HR practice in the region.
Most events occur in Prince George but the region invites new members from all Northern Communities and currently has members in: Burns Lake, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Fraser Lake, Houston, Kitimat, MacKenzie, Olds, Port Clements, Prince George, Prince Rupert, Quesnel, Smithers, Taylor, Terrace, Vanderhoof, Whitehorse, Williams Lake

The Northern Advisory Council handles the planning and implementation of local BC HRMA activities and is made up of members representing a broad range of HR experience levels and areas of practice as follows:
