Sarah Husain - Post Secondary Liaison

Sarah Husain holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Organizational Studies from Simon Fraser University. She is also a CHRP Candidate. She currently works at Industrial Alliance Pacific Insurance and Financial Services in the Human Resources department. Previous to this, Sarah was a Research Associate with Ray & Berndtson Executive Search. When it comes to Human Resources, she is particularly interested in employee engagement, employee relations, organizational development and HR metrics.

Sarah has been an active member of BC HRMA since 2006, volunteering, attending events, participating in the mentorship program and now sitting on the Greater Vancouver Advisory Council.

Being passionate about arts and culture in Vancouver, Sarah was involved with the establishment of local art magazine, One Cool Word. She also volunteers with Junior Achievements BC and sits on the OH&S Committee and Green Committee at her workplace.
