Gene Lang, CHRP - Public Relations

Gene Lang is VP of Franchise Development for Dominion Lending Centres. During his varied career, Gene has provided HR expertise to small- and medium-sized companies, primarily in the high tech, manufacturing and engineering sectors. Gene’s mandate has always been to advocate for and achieve exceptional company support for employee and union/management relations and best practices in selection and organizational development.

Gene launched Maximize HR Outsource, his consulting firm, in 2004. His company offers the full range of human resource management services. Attracted by the vision of a client, Gene joined Dominion Lending Centres in 2006. In addition to overseeing recruitment and selection of franchisees, employees and brokers he provides training and corporate organizational development. His advisory services include compliance with the variety of provincial legislation across Canada governing employment standards, human rights, and the financial sector related to mortgage brokering.

Gene holds a BA in Sociology and a certificate in Human Resources Management. He attained his CHRP in 2007. Gene looks forward to contributing to BC HRMA through his volunteer activities.

He continues to operate his consulting company, Maximize HR Outsource.
