Phaedra Burke, MA, CHRP - Vice - Chair

Phaedra is the Principal at Joule Consulting and has been on the Advisory Council since 2006.

Phaedra’s background ranges from training to retention to marketing. Her career has exposed her to all levels of leadership in private, public and not for profit organizations while implementing programs involving employees and leaders alike. She has specialized in the identification of retention strategies as well as researched and developed programs to address those strategies. She has a Master’s in Leadership and Training through Royal Roads University and her thesis focused on the impact leadership has on retention of employees.

With branding she works with a talented team in the creation of our clients’ brands and really loves the feeling of creative energy and connecting to what is unique about our clients.

Joule Consulting draws from over fifteen years of human resources and marketing experience. Our focus is on branding either the small business professional or the employee target market of an organization (ensuring that the retention initiatives are aligned with the branding). To any project Joule brings strategic thinking, relationship building skills, vision, passion and strong leadership. To accomplish what we do well we thrive on creativity and thinking outside the box raising individuals and organizations to new levels.
