Barbara Ross-Denroche, CHRP, M.A., CPCC - Vice-Chair

Barb is the Principal at The Refinery Leadership Partners Inc. and has been an Advisory Council member since it’s conception in 2004.

Barbara Ross-Denroche is Co-Principal of The Refinery Leadership Partners Inc. www.refineryleadership.com, formerly The Centre for Exceptional Leadership Inc. She has been actively engaged in, and responsible for, many leadership challenges that have shaped best practice people systems within organizations both as a senior manager and organizational consultant. Her work focuses on creating cultures that support high performance, transformational leadership development and talent management both through coaching leaders and facilitating leadership development and talent management in organizations. Barbara is a certified coach and specializes in coaching executives and managers to enhance their leadership effectiveness.

Barbara is a recipient of the BC HRMA Award of Excellence for her work in corporate culture. The Quality Council of British Columbia also recognized Barbara’s achievements, and, LifeScan Canada, one of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, with the Award of Distinction in the People Focus category. She has a Masters in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University. Barbara has instructed leadership at Royal Roads University and Simon Fraser University.

Active in the community, Barbara is Past President of B.C. Special Olympics and the B.C. Human Resources Management Association.
