Anjana Moitra-Ohri, CHRP - Mentoring

Anjana Moitra-Ohri is currently an independent consultant while on maternity leave. Over the last five years she was Supervising Human Resources Consultant with The Fifth Option Consulting Inc.

Anjana graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a BA and later from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) with a Post Diploma Certification in Human Resources Management. She holds a CHRP designation as well as a Certificate in Executive Business Management from the UBC Sauder School of Business.

Anjana is a human resources generalist and has held responsibility for the management, development and implementation of initiatives in areas including, but not limited to strategic planning, recruitment, performance management, training, employee/labour relations, resources management, compensation and termination. She is known for her passionate approach to work and life, problem-solving and decision-making ability, positive attitude and spirit of fun.

Over the last six years, Anjana has volunteered for the BC HRMA serving on several different committees including Mentoring and Conference Planning. Anjana also gives back to the community. She currently sits on the HR Committee for the Potluck Cafe Society and has had past experience with Vantage Point (previously known as Volunteer Vancouver), Vancouver Board of Trade's Leaders of Tomorrow Program and the Lower Mainland Bengali Cultural Society.
