Anjana Moitra, CHRP - Mentoring

Anjana Moitra is a Supervising Human Resources Consultant with The Fifth Option Consulting Inc. While Anjana has volunteered with the BCHRMA since 2005, this is her first year serving on the Advisory Council.

Anjana graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA and later from the British Columbia Institute of Technology with Post Diploma Certification in Human Resources Management. She also obtains the CHRP designation. Upon completion of BCIT she has worked for The Fairmont Waterfront and go2hr.

In her current role, Anjana is responsible for strategy, development and implementation of human resources plans which include recruitment, performance management, employee relations, resources management, compensation and training and development. Anjana is responsible for her client portfolio management, as well as supervisory support for her colleagues and general business management. She is known for her passionate approach to work and life, problem solving and decision making ability, positive attitude and spirit for fun and celebration of success.

Anjana also gives back to the community. She has had past experience with the Vancouver Board of Trade, Leaders of Tomorrow Program, both as a participant and as a member of the Executive Committee. She has also been involved in the Lower Mainland Bengali Cultural Society since 2005, where she currently sits on the Executive Committee as President.
