Quinne Davey
Partnerships, Affiliations, Award of Excellence and Rising Star, Conference & Symposium Speaker Management
Quinne, the consummate organizer, graduated with an undergraduate degree in Anthropology & Sociology from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma in Marketing Management (Tourism) from BCIT. She has an extensive background in the hotel and tourism industry including experience in reservations, front desk, sales and catering management and event planning.
Quinne joined BC HRMA in the position of Registration Administrator. Combining both the role and responsibilities of the Registration Administrator with the Administration of the Professional Designation (CHRP), Quinne was the Professional Development & CHRP Registrar with the Association for more than two years.
With a young family of two girls to keep her on her toes, BC HRMA allowed Quinne the opportunity to achieve the dream of work/life balance by working a flexible part time work schedule. Working with the Business Development Team, her role encompasses negotiating partnerships & affiliations, management of the BC HRMA awards, and speaker management for BC HRMA’s annual conference. Now entering her fifth year with BC HRMA, Quinne is looking forward to taking on a few more hours and a few new responsibilities.
While not at work she loves to spend time with her family in the ‘burbs’, aka Port Moody, creating and cooking new recipes with her husband, trying new wines to add to her ‘favs under $10’ list and meeting with her girlfriends for coffee and a laugh.
