She has recently returned to the North Shore after having lived in Squamish, the Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada, for almost 20 years. She has been an avid runner for over 30 years as well as recreation enthusiast enjoying all that the region had to offer in the way of world class mountain biking, hiking, climbing, Nordic sports, and water sports.
Elizabeth has also been a lifelong volunteer with her early indoctrination with the YMCA over 30 years ago. Most recently she has been sitting as a Director for the Squamish Community Foundation and as a founding Director of the Squamish Nordic Ski Club in anticipation of partnering in the legacy programs following the 2010 Winter Olympics.
