Manager of Professional Development
Kyla Nicholson, CHRP
Creating professional development opportunities for HR practitioners
Kyla joins BC HRMA as the Manager, Professional Development – a role that allows her to bring together her passions for human resources and education.
Kyla brings experience working with clients in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors to design and facilitate leadership development, and organizational learning and performance programs. As a former HR consultant, Kyla worked collaboratively with organizations to provide integrated talent management solutions that facilitated culture change, workforce alignment, engagement, and learning. Previous experience as a curriculum design consultant and teacher make Kyla well versed in workplace learning and development best practices.
Kyla holds degrees in Psychology and Education and is a MBTI® qualified practitioner. Kyla sits on the Editorial Advisory Committee for PeopleTalk magazine. In her spare time she enjoys books, food and wine, travel, sporadic attempts at golf and skiing, and shopping for fabulous shoes.
