Manager, HR Metrics & Research
Helen Luketic, CHRP

Supporting the Development of the Research Function for BC HRMA

Helen brings more than eight years of HR experience to her role in the HR Knowledge & Research function. She combines her HR certification, B.A in Economics, HR information systems knowledge, and experience in HR metrics to provide informative, relevant and timely comment on the issues and challenges facing HR. She has first-hand knowledge of the challenges that HR practitioners face when searching for information and benchmarks to prove the value of the HR department to the business; her goal is to assist members in overcoming those challenges.

The Vancouver-native held her first job at the early age of 15, working as a customer service rep for a national mega-retailer. It was there that she came to the conclusion that if organizations practiced the fine art of employee engagement, fair employment practices, relevant training, and rewarding compensation packages, the investment would pay off in increased employee productivity and of course, profits. Alas, her HR career had begun!

Helen's favourite free-time activities include spending time with friends and family and trying her hands at various activities, which have included writing, singing, travelling, wine-tasting and playing the mandolin. She is a devoted fan of American Idol and the Croatian national soccer team.
