Conference and Events Manager
Erin Engstrom
Conference Manager, Annual Charity Silent Auction and Swirl Wine Event.
Erin is a Communications and Marketing major from SFU who joined the BC HRMA team after working at VANOC for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Erin brings years of experience in conference management, project planning and marketing from her work in Canada and Sweden.
After living in Europe for 10 years, Erin moved back to Canada to enjoy the natural beauty of North Vancouver. Erin jokes that “people who grow up on the North Shore are like salmon – we all return to North Vancouver to spawn!” She claims that the key to maintaining a healthy life balance between family and career is her morning hikes along the peaceful forest trails of Capilano Canyon with her dog Cooper.
Known as a high energy, extremely organized and empathetic person Erin also radiates fun. She strives to continually grow both personally and professionally and embraces everyday as a gift, not a right.
