Senior Manager, Operations
Christian Codrington, CHRP
Manages the Association's operations, member relations, communications and marketing.
Christian has had the good fortune to contribute to the success of a number of organizations over his career in human resource. These include generalist roles with Human Resources Development Canada, Children's and Women's Health Centre of BC, as well as specialist, labour relations and senior roles with Best Buy Canada and Starbucks Coffee Canada. Over the years, his involvement with BCHRMA has also taken a number of different forms including roundtable chair, Board Member and now his current staff role.
Christian earned his business undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University, specializing in Organizational Behaviour and his ongoing professional development includes certificates in both Conflict Resolution/Third Party Negotiation as well as Mediation from the Justice Institute of BC. Christian has also served on the Board of Directors for Douglas College.
When not at work, Christian enjoys staying active — and staying clear of his son's jabs — by taking martial arts classes together. He also loves music and is currently teaching himself guitar.
