Vicki Abkarian
Full Cycle Accounting
Vicki joined BCHRMA in August of 2006 bringing with her 12 years of corporate experience in accounting and computer systems with The Loewen/Alderwoods Group. Her accounting experience now exceeds two decades and ongoing professional and personal growth is a way of life for her.
Vicki loves her Controller’s position at BC HRMA and is pleased to have been able to streamline and introduce accounting systems and procedures that will both cultivate, and grow with, the organization.
She lives in North Burnaby with her spouse Marty Ozols with whom she often enjoys movies, thoughtful and diverse café conversations, restaurants, woodsy walks, and lots of laughter. Vicki enjoys reading, especially physics books, and she loves spending time with her identical twin sister and younger sister when they visit from out of town.
Vicki takes much pleasure in working at the BC HRMA Annual Conference because of the vital immediacy of seeing the members enjoy one of the more spectacular events that BC HRMA has to offer.
The size of the organization is perfect for Vicki. She enjoys using her skills and experience to serve the membership, staff and Board of BC HRMA.
