As the BC certifying body of the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, the association is responsible for upholding industry standards and is dedicated to advancing professional people practices.

BC HRMA, the largest HR association in Western Canada, offers professional learning and networking opportunities including workshops, symposia, events, and an annual conference & showcase.

Over the past five decades BC HRMA has grown to include more than 4,600 members encompassing CEOs, Directors of HR, consultants, educators, students, HR generalists, and small-business owners. The association is a democratic organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership.
