Central Interior

The Central Interior Advisory Council handles the planning and implementation of local BC HRMA activities and is made up of members representing a broad range of HR experience levels and areas of practice.

BC HRMA members are encouraged to participate on the Advisory Council and/or provide suggestions and ideas of local interest. The Central Interior Advisory Council welcomes input from all BC HRMA members who would like to be involved with the growth of HR practice in the region. A call for volunteers on the Council is made in the spring each year.

Your Central Interior Advisory Council:

	Chair – Lisa Fuller, CHRP Lisa is a freelance HR Consultant and is in her second year as Chair.
	Vice Chair, Incoming Professional Development & CHRP lead – Dean Stainton, CHRP Dean is Director of Client Services and People Systems and is in his second year as an Advisory Council member.
	Administrator & Post Secondary Liaison – Katie McPhedran Katie is a student in the HR program at Thompson Rivers University and is in her second year on the council.
	Awards – Sandy Austin, CHRP Sandy is Manager, Business Services at the BC Lottery Corporation. She is in her second year on the Advisory Council.
	Communications – Jennifer Billingsley, CHRP Jennifer is a Human Resources Consultant at Thompson Rivers University who is currently on maternity leave. This is her third year on the council.
	Mentoring – Connie Georget, CHRP Connie is a Personnel Officer with Teck Resources Limited. This is her fourth year on the council.
	Mentoring – Bernie Mahoney Bernie is an HR Consultant at Thompson Rivers University. This is her third year as a member of the Advisory Council.
	Networking – Debbie Cobb, CHRP Debbie has recently become Manager of Human Resources with the Thompson-Nicola Regional District and is in her second year at an Advisory Council member.
	Networking – Lori Rilkoff, CHRP Lori, the Human Resources Director at the City of Kamloops, returns to the Advisory Council. Lori is a past Chair of the Central Interior region.
	Professional Development & CHRP second – Francyne Joe, CHRP Candidate Francyne is an experienced HR professional specializing in work with First Nations. She joins the council for the first time this year.
